Service – Parts Assistant – Utah

MMT, LLC is a machine tool sales and service company located in Salt Lake City. We have a full-time opportunity for a Service – Parts Assistant who is professional, courteous and dedicated to providing excellent support.

Responsibilities

  • Help identity parts by researching technical drawings, parts books, databases, catalogs and other available resources for accurate part identification
  • Contact vendors to identify and/or validate part definition, price & availability
  • Enter parts orders and place orders with vendors
  • Call customer to get PO and communicate pricing & delivery charges
  • Receive parts, verify and stock. Receive freight shipments (forklift). Restock service vans
  • Pick & ship orders from warehouse
  • Process & ship returns on a timely basis. Process credits for parts returns
  • General warehouse duties (cleaning/upkeep)

Requirements

  • 2 years of directly-related work experience in service – parts environment
  • Passion for helping and providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must love to multi-task and juggle many demands while paying attention to the details
  • Desire to track down answers and resolve problems or questions
  • Computer knowledge and data entry skills
